Career Development Opportunities Explained

Career Development Opportunities through the IAP are designed to help alumni gain hands-on work experience and build professional skills. These include internships, freelance projects, and entry-level roles with Bridges for Music partners and industry collaborators.

1. Apply Directly
Unlike performance opportunities, career development and upskilling roles can be applied for directly through the links shared on the IAP Opportunities Page or in the WhatsApp Community. Each listing includes application details, requirements, and deadlines.

2. Screening and Matching
Once applications close, the IAP team reviews all submissions based on motivation, experience, and initiative. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews or skill assessments depending on the nature of the role.

3. Placement and Feedback
If selected, you’ll be guided through onboarding with the partner organization and receive support from the IAP team throughout your placement. After completion, interns are encouraged to share feedback and update their professional portfolios.
