Upskilling Opportunities Explained
Upskilling Opportunities through the IAP are designed to provide alumni with the training, knowledge, and connections they need after graduation. These experiences aim to support your personal, professional, and emotional growth, helping you continue developing long after your initial studies. These opportunities are intended to encourage and grow a culture of life-long learning.
1. Ongoing Learning Experiences
Upskilling takes many forms, including topic-specific workshops that run over several sessions, Family Fridays that build community through shared skills and stories, and Artist Workshops or In-Studio Sessions where alumni can learn directly from leading artists and industry professionals.
2. Alumni Week Events
Twice a year, the Industry Access Program hosts an Alumni Week, a dedicated series of workshops and networking sessions designed to inspire growth, collaboration, and connection within the BFM alumni community.
3. Expert Partner Training Programs
We also offer access to training from industry-leading partners across areas like music production, business, and mindfulness. These sessions give alumni practical tools to enhance their creative and professional capacity.
How It Works
Who's it for?
These opportunities are open to all alumni who are members of the Industry Access Program, that show motivation, curiosity, and consistent engagement in the community and want to learn and grow in various areas. Participants who take initiative and actively contribute are given first access to initiatives with limited places.
